Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and requirements.
  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with the project's vision and storytelling.
  • Trim, rearrange, and enhance video content to ensure seamless transitions and a cohesive flow.
  • Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance the overall video quality.
  • Ensure that videos meet technical requirements and adhere to established brand guidelines.
  • Use video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) to edit and produce videos.
  • Select and incorporate appropriate background music, voice-overs, and sound effects to enhance the video's impact.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review and iterate on video drafts based on feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and implement them in projects when appropriate.
  • Manage and organize video files, ensuring proper backup and archiving.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
  • Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong understanding of video editing techniques, visual storytelling, and pacing.
  • Solid knowledge of video file formats, codecs, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
  • Experience with color correction and grading to enhance video aesthetics.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with the creative team and stakeholders.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your video editing skills and previous projects.
