Description
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project objectives and requirements.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that align with the project's vision and storytelling.
- Trim, rearrange, and enhance video content to ensure seamless transitions and a cohesive flow.
- Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance the overall video quality.
- Ensure that videos meet technical requirements and adhere to established brand guidelines.
- Use video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) to edit and produce videos.
- Select and incorporate appropriate background music, voice-overs, and sound effects to enhance the video's impact.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to review and iterate on video drafts based on feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in video editing and implement them in projects when appropriate.
- Manage and organize video files, ensuring proper backup and archiving.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of video editing techniques, visual storytelling, and pacing.
- Solid knowledge of video file formats, codecs, resolutions, and aspect ratios.
- Experience with color correction and grading to enhance video aesthetics.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with the creative team and stakeholders.
- A portfolio demonstrating your video editing skills and previous projects.
